I’ve told hundreds — if not thousands of video stories in my life. It’s a big piece of who I am. I studied broadcast news and video production at Washington State University, and honed those skills as a reporter and sportscaster at television stations for more than a decade.
When I was working in television news, viewers only saw the finished product on-air. Very few knew that I actually shot, edited, and produced many of my own stories. I was in control of the entire video process from beginning to end. And honestly, I wouldn’t have had it any other way. I’m passionate about every aspect of the video storytelling process.
Everyone and everything has a story. Telling that story with unique shots, using the perfect editing sequence, adding the perfect natural sound, or hopping in front of the camera — there’s no bigger thrill in the world.
